Hexham to Harrogate  

Progressing ever Southwards the team head for the charming town of Harrogate with a very important stop at Carlton Lodge near Thirsk for the Carlton Fun Day on the way.
Nigel and the team will be spending about an hour at North Yorkshire Youth Ltd’s Outdoor Centre - Carlton Lodge. This is situated on the A61 about 2 miles to the West of Thirsk, North Yorkshire YO7 4NJ. They are expected to arrive from 1pm

 

31 July is the day of the Carlton Fun Day. The site is open to the public from 10am to 4 pm. Families and individuals can come and enjoy our activities which include Canoeing, Kayaking, Climbing, High Ropes, Zip Wire, Archery and Scavenger Hunt. In addition we have cycling provided by Bike Club Darlington & York, a bouncy  castle and bungee run, face painting and activities provided by Yorkshire 4x4. Bring a picnic or get refreshments from our Burger/Snack Bar

 

No need to book, just turn up for the day. A family of 5 costs £25, family of 4 is £20, adults are £10, children 5 – 15 are £5 and under 5s go free.
