Blackpool to Carlisle

Progressing ever Northwards the team reach Carlisle for an afternoon of fun with Young Cumbria and Carlisle City Council.

Stalls / Displays


An opportunity to meet with Young Cumbria workers and look around stalls and displays from youth projects around Cumbria promoting their work with young people.



Barracudas Carnival


2.30-4.30pm, Stilt walking, drumming and other workshops

3.15pm and 5.15pm, Barracudas performances.


Fundraising Activities (run by young people) - Penalty shoot out, tin can alley, tuck shops and plenty more.

Cycle Active
- 2.30-4.30pm, Junior cycle skills sessions (commissioned by Cumbria Tourism and Passport2Pedalling Scheme) NB: Bikes may not be provided, we will confirm nearer the time.

Border City Wheelers - 2.30-4.30pm, Grass track cycling (NB: Bikes may not be provided, we will confirm nearer the time).

Cumbria Sport Partnership/Cnevents - 2.30-5.30pm, Promoting summer programme and giving out freebies.

Who's in the Ai  team?




Andy Crinson

 
As Head of Vehicle Supply at Ai Andy oversees the management of over 100,000 hire requests per annum. Previously with Europcar Group as Regional Director Andy has been involved with UK Youth for over 10 years completing the London, New York and Toronto Marathons as well as 24 Great North Runs on behalf of the charity as well as being involved in the organisation of the Nigel Mansell UK Youth Golf Classic. Married with 2 children and a dog called Trevor he enjoys all forms of motorsport ,loves Newcastle United and tries his best to keep fit but prefers red wine and kebabs!







Sean Harper

Job Title – Regional Network Performance Manager
 
Function Role: Performance Manager responsible for the Financial and Day to Day performance of the Ai Repair Network along with Ai’s External Engineering function. Has 15 years experience in performance and relationship management alongside 10 happy years at Ai. Lives on the Fylde Coast after relocating from Manchester. Keen runner, footballer, traveller.





Adam Anderson

 Job title: Training Manager
 
Function / Role: Adam has led the training team at Ai for 5 years. He has a total of 27 years experience in Motor Insurance across motor claims handling, people management, technical and leadership training. Now living in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire having moved from Essex 23 years ago. Married with two children (and a dog) he enjoys any kind of motorsport, particularly F1, WRC and LMS. He even cycles occasionally!










Sue Taylor

Job Title: Application Developer
 
Sue is a Microsoft C# .Net / BizTalk computer programmer and is part of a team of IT professionals who write and maintain a custom software solution for handling core Ai business processes. Sue is a keen road cyclist and cycle tourer, owns a tandem and rides with Garstang Cycling Club




Julie Carnell


Job Title:  Commercial Assistant
 
Function/Role:  After a long and distinguished career as a Physical Training Instructor in Her Majesties Armed Forces I took 15 months leave of absence as a volunteer at Ladyville Children’s Orphanage in Belize, Central America.
 
I now live in Blackpool and have worked for  Ai Claims Solutions for 3 years as Commercial Assistant to the Commercial Director.
